Account Responsibility

A parent or guardian is responsible for the account, kit activation choices, and the learner profiles created under that account.

Children should use the app under family supervision appropriate for their age and skill level.

Acceptable Use

Use the app for educational participation with Build It Labs Kits and optional Build It Labs community activities. Do not upload or share content containing personal contact information, faces, school names, addresses, or unsafe material.

Do not attempt to bypass product activation, security, or access controls.

Journal Sharing

Project photos are intended to focus on the build, wiring, hardware, or robot rather than the child.

Photos remain private on the device until a parent or guardian reviews and approves sharing them with Build It Labs or submitting them for an optional community showcase.

AI Guidance

Sparky is an educational assistant designed to guide learning. It may be wrong or incomplete, so parents and learners should use judgment and follow hardware safety instructions.

Families should stop and ask an instructor or parent for help if something feels unsafe or unclear.
